As a prelude to the inaugural For Alumni, By Alumni (FABA) Festival in Barbados, the invitation-only HBCU Alumni Engagement Summit, will take place June 14- 15 at the O2 Beach Club & Spa In Barbados.
This one-day summit will bring together HBCU vice presidents and directors of institutional advancement, development, alumni relations, external affairs and international outreach and programming, as well as national, regional, and local alumni association leaders to explore innovative approaches to increasing alumni engagement and giving at our beloved institutions, as well as opportunities to increase international alumni engagement and international student outreach.
The summit will offer a full day of sessions, panel discussions, and roundtables designed to exchange best practices, discuss emerging trends and share strategies that can be immediately implemented at participant institutions.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: MAY 2, 2023
The HBCU Alumni Engagement Summit invites speaker and session proposals inclusive of diverse perspectives and innovative approaches to alumni engagement and giving, as well as international outreach.
We invite HBCU senior-level administrators, faculty and staff that support alumni relations and international outreach, as well as national, regional, and local alumni association leaders to submit proposals for presentation at the Summit that address at least one of the following areas:
