The HBCU Alumni Engagement Summit invites speaker and session proposals inclusive of diverse perspectives and innovate approaches to alumni engagement and giving, as well as international outreach.
As a prelude to the inaugural For Alumni, By Alumni (FABA) Festival in Barbados, the invitation-only HBCU Alumni Engagement Summit, will take place June 14- 15 at the O2 Beach Club & Spa In Barbados.
This one-day summit will bring together HBCU vice presidents and directors of institutional advancement, development, alumni relations, external affairs and international outreach and programming, as well as national, regional, and local alumni association leaders to explore innovative approaches to increasing alumni engagement and giving at our beloved institutions, as well as opportunities to increase international alumni engagement and international student outreach.
The summit will offer a full day of sessions, panel discussions, and roundtables designed to exchange best practices, discuss emerging trends and share strategies that can be immediately implemented at participant institutions.

The festival will also host the first HBCU College Fair in Barbados on June 17, 8 - 10 am, for high school students in Barbados and neighboring Caribbean islands. We invite all HBCU recruitment and/or alumni representatives to participate. Register your institution HERE.

Our host venue is the new O2 Beach Club & Spa, located on the stunning south coast of Barbados, just 15 minutes from the Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI). The all-inclusive O2 offers five-star luxury accommodations and amenities and a variety of exciting activities.
Attendees can take advantage of special, discounted summit rates for two nights, June 14-16. Stays beyond these dates will increase to the (also discounted) FABA festival rates.

Registration for the Alumni Engagement Summit is free and open only to invited participants. The deadline to register is May 19, 2023.

Registrants are welcome to attend the FABA Festival following the Summit, but must purchase a pass to attend festival events. Summit registrants can take advantage of a special 10% off discount any 4-Day pass by using the code ALUMSUMMIT at check-out.
